WHEN CAN I REGISTER?
Registration opens approximately 8 weeks before the season starts and closes as soon as the last spot is taken.
We work on a 1st come 1st serve basis. Our venues have capacity limits for players and teams therefore to be fair we need to honor our commitment to you. At that point we cannot guarantee that you will be placed on the team of choice and will include a late fee. We reserve the right to close registration at any time regardless of the dates listed; we suggest you register early to avoid not being able to join the league or team of your choice.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Q) If I join with my friends can we be kept together on the same team?

MY BUSINESS OR COMPANY WANTS TO PAY FOR MY TEAM, CAN WE DO THIS?
Yes & we have several options for you to choose from, contact us for more details.

WHEN & WHERE DO YOU PLAY?
We play at local parks and recreation centers. Fields may be softball/baseball or multipurpose fields. Check the league website for specific location details and season game dates.

WHAT IF I WANT TO SPONSOR A TEAM OR MY TEAM HAS A SPONSOR?
We have many types of sponsorship options, click on the sponsorship tab for more details or contact us.

HOW MANY PLAYERS ON A TEAM?
The number of players on a team may vary from season to season and sports to sport. Typically, kickball teams range in size from about 16-22 players. Teams field 11 players defensively, you will want to make sure that you have substitutes available. If you need help with extra players, we always have free agents looking to join a team!

WHAT IF MY TEAM ISN'T SUPER COMPETITIVE?
We want everyone to participate together and understand that teams have different skill levels. We don't  think your sports skills should dictate where you socialize. However, we do make the schedule so more competitive teams play do not square off against less competitive teams often.

WHAT IF YOU DON'T HAVE A LEAGUE IN MY CITY?
If you are interested or know someone who is interested in starting a league, contact us for more information.

Captains Responsibilities:
Being a team captain is a voluntary position and we greatly appreciate your assistance. Fortunately being a captain doesn't require a lot of additional work but the team does rely on you so if you do not have the time or desire to be one please let us know. City Kickball reserves the right to remove a captain at any time for reasons including violation of our policies, terms & conditions.

Responsibilities and tasks include.....

Check your email and respond to player questions or refer them back to the league manager for assistance.

Email your team a few days before game day and remind the players what time and what field your game is on. Ask who will not be at the game so that you can prepare your lineup prior to the game. Note:, all players are entitled to an equal amount of playing time, you cannot bench a player, please discuss any issues with your league manager.

Make arrangements for your referees to be at the scheduled field for ref duty & on time.

Work with new players on basic strategies and rules of the game (see online rule book).

Keep your players from acting in an unsportsmanlike manor. Only captains can discuss disputed calls with a referee. Yelling, name calling and jumping up and down like a 2 year old is strictly prohibited. This is a social sport and good behavior is not only expected it is required.

Encourage your team to attend & participate in official league social events including game day after parties at the sponsor bar, theme nights at the fields and sharing fun photos.
